Material Description

MasterGlenium ACE 475 is optimized for use where the time between concrete mixing and placing is rapid, such as when using bullet skips or direct discharge from mixer to unit. The workability life of the concrete is balanced to retain workability while enabling strength development to start as soon as possible. When used with the patented MasterX-Seed concept, it enables rapid mold turnaround and can reduce or eliminate the need for enhanced temperature curing regimes. Its molecular configuration accelerates cement hydration by increasing the surface area of cement particles that react with water. Controlled retention and robustness are distinctive features of precast concrete produced with MasterGlenium ACE 475.

Areas of Application

MasterGlenium ACE 475 is suitable for precast concrete elements with highly workable, non-segregating concrete utilizing low water-cement ratios and achieving high early and final strengths. Production can be carried out without vibration, allowing economical, ecological, and ergonomic precast concrete manufacturing. It has particular synergy with the MasterX-Seed Crystal Speed Hardening concept.
