Contributing to the circular economy is one of the many ways that Master Builders Solutions is supporting the concrete industry by reducing waste. We have many admixture solutions that promote the recycle and reuse of concrete, from preventing unused concrete from setting and having to be land-filled, to admixtures that can convert fresh, returned concrete into a recycled product that can be used as construction backfill, road building material, or aggregate.

MasterSuna RCT 323 - Concrete admixture that enables concrete producers to recycle returned concrete, diverting returned fresh concrete from the waste stream and eliminating the need for carbon intense onsite concrete crushing.

MasterSet DELVO - MasterSet DELVO admixture, when dispensed into plastic concrete, stops cement hydration by forming a protective barrier around cementitious particles. This barrier prevents portland cement, fly ash, and granulated slag from achieving initial set. Returned plastic concrete treated with MasterSet DELVO admixture can be kept in a plastic state in the drum of a ready-mix truck or in a central holding vessel for a few minutes, a few hours, or even a few days.
