Onshore Wind Turbine Grouts
The newly developed MB Flux range of specialized onshore grouts are designed to meet the strict requirements of wind turbine manufacturers. Onshore grouts are used to underfill the flanges of onshore wind turbine structures. Key advantages of MB Flux onshore grouts include easy application, volume stability, and very fast hardening across a wide temperature range, allowing quick installation under all conditions.
Offshore Wind Turbine Grouts
Offshore grouts are typically used with monopile foundations as well as jacket structures. MB Flux offshore grouts meet the requirements of the foundation installation contractors and grouting specialists, allowing them to install wind turbine foundations in the shortest possible time-span and under the most harsh offshore conditions, enabling cost-effective construction of the offshore windfarms.
Admixture solutions for concrete foundations
Onshore wind turbine generators are typically supported by reinforced concrete foundations which are cast in place. As wind turbines are getting larger and larger, so are wind turbine foundations. Such foundations will require a volume of concrete in the range of 600 – 1,000+ cubic meters and take easily seven to nine hours to complete the on-site concrete placement. As the size of the foundations and placement durations have increased, so do the placement challenges associated with mass concrete pours. Our admixture solutions help to meet increasing demands for durable concrete foundations. They can be tailored to meet those demanding installation requirements and achieve the best concrete mix for the foundation design.
