How does the MasterLife WP 70 System work?

MasterLife WP 70 Part A is a hydrophilic waterstop made from bentonite clay and butyl rubber that, with its excellent swelling capabilities, acts as a watertight seal for construction / day joints. Fixing is recommended using MasterLife WP 70 Part B. MasterLife WP 70 Part B is a galvanised steel installation mesh for use with MasterLife WP 70 Part A.

What is the MasterLife WP 70 System used for?

MasterLife WP 70 System is suitable for all concrete construction joints subject to hydrostatic pressure on one or both sides. Application areas include joints between: Concrete construction joints, Rafts/walls in tunnels or basements and steel/concrete pipes, I-Section steels and pre-cast elements etc.

Alternatively, MasterLife WP 70 Part A can be applied as a system component for bentonite mats. It seals against hydrostatic head of pressure of up to 5 bar.
