High-performance viscosity modifying agent (VMA) for fluid concrete

Altering the rheological properties of concrete by using a viscosity modifying agent enhances segregation resistance and minimises the effect of variations in moisture content, fines in the sands and grain-size distribution. MasterMatrix SDC 100 is designed to be used whenever an increase in mix viscosity is desired, especially in self-compacting concrete (SCC) with a low fines content.

How does MasterMatrix SDC 100 work?

Innovative MasterMatrix SDC 100 is an aqueous solution employing a high molecular weight synthetic copolymer with a tailored mode of action in concrete. It achieves the viscosity needed for the right balance between fluidity, passing ability and resistance to segregation – apparently opposing properties, which are lacking when the fluidity of the concrete is obtained by adding water.
