How Does MasterPel 305 Work?

MasterPel 305 is a non-chloride liquid admixture designed to improve performances and reduce efflorescence in concrete masonry. MasterPel 305 when added to the mixture produces a hydrophobic layer along the capillaries in concrete products and mortar, greatly reducing water absorption and migration.

Recommended Uses:

• Most applications requiring watertight mixes such as pavers and blocks.

• Cementitious products where surface efflorescence is not acceptable.

MasterPel 305 is not recommended for use in concrete exposed to hydrostatic pressure.

What Are the Benefits of MasterPel 305?

MasterPel 305 added to a well-designed mix at the recommended dose rate:

• Reduces the permeability.

• Reduces primary and secondary efflorescence often present in blocks and pavers.

• Increases durability and water tightness by protecting against the ingress of dampness, soluble salts and aggressive chemicals.

• Suitable for subsequent application of mortar, render tiles or paint.
