MasterGeo
Ground Support Technology
How Does MasterGeo Work?
MasterGeo is a Glass-Fibre Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) continuously threaded solid bar that functions as a high load-bearing ground anchor and soil nail. It is engineered as a lightweight, durable, and easy-to-install alternative to traditional steel bars, making it highly suitable for civil engineering applications.
Designed for seamless integration with our specialised MasterFlux cable grout system, MasterGeo is ideal for use in both temporary and long-term stabilisation projects, such as slope stabilisation, face retention, ground support, and systematic rock bolting. The continuous thread design ensures efficient bond performance with grout, and the installation process is simplified with a single-stage grouting method that eliminates the need for external sheathing.

What Are the Unique Features of the Product?
Application Advantages
Lightweight and Easy Handling: Simplifies transport and installation, especially in challenging or restricted-access locations.
No Sheathing Required: Direct grouting eliminates extra components, reducing complexity and installation time.
Efficient Grouting: The system allows for a reliable, single-stage grouting process.
Cost-Effective: Lower transport and handling costs combined with reduced labour time contribute to overall project savings.
Performance & Lifecycle Benefits
High Tensile and Shear Strength: Provides robust structural support across a variety of load conditions.
Exceptional Durability: Resistant to corrosion and environmental degradation, ensuring long-term performance.
100-Year Design Life: Suited for long-term structural stability in critical infrastructure.
Cuttable: Can be safely cut during future excavations without damaging equipment.
Non-Conductive: Prevents stray electrical currents, making it safe for use around electrified infrastructure.
