Delivering Australia’s First Ready-Mix Marine Grout Solution
When the Fremantle Traffic Bridge replacement project required grouting beneath tidal conditions on the Swan River, traditional solutions weren’t enough. Working closely with Brady Marine, Master Builders Solutions conducted extensive trials at our High Wycombe facility and Fremantle Port to identify a material capable of withstanding washout, limited hose diameters, and compressive strength requirements.
The result was MasterFlux 80 RMX, a custom-formulated, anti-washout ready-mix grout delivered in 4 m³ agitators. This first-of-its-kind Australian application set a new benchmark for underwater grouting performance. By replacing thousands of 20 kg bags with bulk agitator loads, the project achieved significant time, cost, and safety efficiencies while ensuring consistent quality under challenging marine conditions.
